One of the best things about NYC is being able to grab great food on the run.
Wafels and Dinges is a belgian waffle cart that travels around the city serving up delicious treats. A few weekends ago I was walking around on the Upper East Side and came across this truck. Amazing! NYers, you can check out their website to see where they are going to be next. I highly recommend it.

For 3 weeks, this was parked on my corner. I tried their classic waffle with powdered sugar and it was unbelievable. I mean, sometimes-had-to-walk-the-long-way-home-just-to-avoid-temptation-good. Though take note: they aren’t exactly the neatest things to eat. I was absolutely covered in powdered sugar by the end. Still. So worth it.

FYI, they also serve these at The Bean’s two locations if you want to sit down and have one.  The one by the New School has a wafels & dinges stamp on the front window, and I never quite knew what that was or whether or not it was supposed to be good. I’ll have to try it when I’m back.
